NSCC Skidpan 14 August 2010Published: August 16, 2010
Saturday the 14th of August saw Lower Blue Mountains Christian Car Club (LBMCCC) hold another of their brilliant skid pan challenge days at Eastern Creek skid pan. We were blessed with a perfect clear winters day and a strong NSCC field of 24 members participating in the action!
A new piece of history was created at this event as some of our members keen on drift were able to battle it out for "best style points" prize. We were also intoduced to some new and more challenging courses to help keep all attendee's on their toes. It was great to see some fresh new cars attending and having a ball along side LBMCCC. Here are some great pics from the day out on the pan!

Combined Clubs Supersprint Eastern Creek - 10th July 2010Published: July 31, 2010
A few of the clubs members entered the combined clubs super sprint round @ Eastern Creek in July. The weather was overcast with some rain coming after lunch that made for some entertaining sideways action and smiles from some of the drivers. It had been a while for most of the members since they had been back out at EC and it made for interesting lines and discussions throughout the day about which line was faster and how fast were you running through turn 1 or when were you braking for turn 1. It didn’t really matter but made for some light banter and a fair bit of laughter.
Overall the day was great fun and the general coconscious was will be back next time.

NSCC Dyno DayPublished: July 22, 2010
NSCC Annual Dyno Day 18th July
This years event was graciously hosted by Yavuz and his team at Unigroup Engineering Girraween.
As luck would have it we were blessed with a fantastic winters day for the event which was evident by all the beautifully cleaned cars.
The members also arrived with very good appetites and were pleased that the President had bought along the club BBQ and the fat gourmet sausages. They went faster then Matts S14.
Procceedings kicked off at 12pm with 20 cars being put up on the rollers during the course of the afternoon. A good mix of SR's,RB's, a couple of Lotus's,Megane and MX5 posted a wide band of power figures.
Yavuz also offered constructive advice on peoples tunes and power results.
The whole day was another huge success for the club as a combined social technical event, with everyone taking away bit more knowledge on where their car tune is at thanks to Yavuz.
Thanks to everyone who took time out to be part of the Dyno Day,especially some of the newer members for adding some fresh energy to this club event

The GT500 specification Nissan GT-RPublished: February 10, 2008

TOKYO (January 8, 2008) - The GT500 specification Nissan GT-R racing car, which will vie for the 2008 SUPER GT series, will make its public debut at the upcoming “Tokyo Auto Salon with NAPAC” (January 11-13, 2008 at Makuhari Messe), followed by the “Osaka Auto Messe 2008″ (February 9-11, 2008 at Intecks Osaka), the country’s two largest annual custom car shows.
The new works livery - which will be featured across Nissan motorsports activities during the 2008 season - will be unveiled on the race car. Nissan will vie for the SUPER GT Championship, one of the world’s most demanding GT race series, with the new machine built on the same multi-performance super car concept of the Nissan GT-R road car.
The new livery resulted from close collaboration between Nissan’s design team and NISMO, its motorsports affiliate company, and incorporates feedback from members of the “Club NISMO” fan club.
The signature wide “brush stroke” design motif, synonymous with the current Fairlady Z race car, was carried forward into the new GT-R racing car as Nissan’s racing fans worldwide could immediately associate with the design. The livery design swipes forward from the rear in bold red and black - the red symbolizes the passion for racing, while the black signifies the high performance of the new Nissan GT-R.
Further details of the GT500 Nissan GT-R including technical specifications will be announced on January 31st, as well as Nissan’s full range of global motorsports activities for the coming season.
