About NSCC

The Nissan Sports Car Club was launched on September 28, 2002 with a barbeque at Parramatta Park in Sydney. More than 100 people attended, including interested Nissan Sports Car owners, related suppliers and the ProConcept GTP race team, it was a fantastic success.

One of the goals of the NSCC is to provide a social environment where those with an interest in Nissan Sports Cars can meet with like-minded people. Whether it is at a summer barbeque, an early morning drive along country roads or a tech night with an industry expert, there are lots of opportunities to meet and socialise with other owners. For those who take their fun at a more elevated pace, the club is CAMS affiliated and regularly participates in track days, driver training days and trips to (and across!!) the skidpan.

The club strives to give owners of Nissan Sports Cars a unified voice when dealing with suppliers. There are a number of parts suppliers, driver training organisations, etc who work with the club and support it with discounts on products and services. Your club membership card is the key to these benefits. The club has negotiated substantial discounts with suppliers who recognise the value to all parties when dealing with members of a bona fide organisation. With a number of genuine discounts already delivered to members, the club continues to seek out and deliver members the best possible deals.

The club continues to be a focus of information on our cars. With a membership base of dedicated Nissan Sports Car enthusiasts with years of experience we are able to assist with questions and advice - from the correct oil to use in the gearbox, to the best turbo upgrade options. Complementing this knowledge are our website and forums with a mix of technical, news, events and general interest articles. The club also organises technical evenings with industry specialists and is involved in bespoke developments with local parts manufacturers. When it comes to technical information, the NSCC is recognised as being the most accurate and comprehensive source available.

Events, Internet Services, CAMS affiliation and the like cost money. After reviewing other clubs, it was decided that the club would charge an annual membership fee of $A50.00 with a one-off $A25.00 joining fee. These fees have remained unchanged since the clubs inception.

While it is based in Sydney, the NSCC is certainly not restricted to it. Within a week of launching, the club had members from most states and territories in Australia and looks forward to bringing on international members.

By now, you may be asking what qualifies you as a member. If you own, or are interested in, Nissan Sports Cars and want to get the most out of your passion, then the Nissan Sports Car Club is for you. While originally established as a club for owners of modern (post 1995) Nissan Sports Cars, the club has matured and developed. In early 2005 the general membership felt it appropriate to invite membership from all Nissan Sports Car enthusiasts, regardless of model. The clubs constitution was revised in early 2005 to reflect this change. With a single membership class, all club members can take advantage of the privileges and services provided by the club.

We look forward to you joining our community.
